With a passion for politics, writing and the law, it seemed natural to throw a minor in international justice into the mix. From uni, she juggled several jobs, working on radio, television and digital to expand her experience.
It wasn’t until her Mum, who was living in Abu Dhabi at the time, told her to try her hand in the UAE that Caitlyn got on a plane for a threemonth trip to the UAE. From there, she never left.
She worked on lifestyle magazines, before finding a job at 7DAYSUAE newspaper.
Caitlyn got involved on all facets of the newspaper’s platforms and got to try all kinds of wild things, from diving in the Atlantis Aquarium to beach polo on horses.
Now she’s deputy editor at Lovin Dubai, and fills her days trying all kinds of new sports, playing with animals and exploring the UAE and its surrounds.

He also read Law at the University of Sheffield and has over four years of digital marketing experience which collectively developed his client-centric work ethic and has in turned made him the trustworthy ‘New Media’ Sales Manager he is today.
The majority of his experience came from working within the Finance Department for Mindshare Group one of the leading Global Media Agencies out there. Josef was part of the regional head office finance team at Mindshare MENA in Beirut also worked in the operational financial team at Mindshare Dubai office were he met and worked along with Richard. Managing a portfolio of major Global and Regional clients in the Media Industry as well as handling the Agency’s financial reporting operations.
Josef is currently the Finance Manager for Augustus DMCC & Lovin Dubai and also runs his own Hedge Fund.
Move forward two years and Lovin Dubai was born; Casey moved to Dubai, keeping up teaching but picking up journalism where she left off, by finding placement as a writer for the newbie website.
A keen interest in current affairs, media, food, social events and a big love for the city made the position a perfect fit. Casey has been part of the huge success and growth of the company.
Sourcing stories, creating content, keeping a keen eye on analytics and being part of the developing landscape of a dynamic young company are just some of the reasons Casey is more than happy to put in the hours for two jobs over one.
Aneesa began her media career in London as a Newsgatherer where she used social media to source UGC of significant international events. In her next role, she contributed towards the creation of a United Nations dedicated channel on YouTube. She then worked in online marketing and social media in the Gulf before becoming a video platform Content Curator for the Associated Press.
In 2016, Aneesa arrived in Dubai and took on a role that combined her knowledge of digital channels with her passion for writing.
She is currently an Account Executive for Augustus and a writer for Lovin Dubai. She still raps her heart out in the car though!
